The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fabrício Lustosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Andarilhos's Jon Oblak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabrício Lustosa in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fu Han Qiang in the 14th minute of play forced Academia Monte Gordo's goalkeeper Mao Zhen Hong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Academia Monte Gordo getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Arana Ponta hit a great ball. Mao Zhen Hong was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Fu Han Qiang capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fu Han Qiang really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Fu Han Qiangs short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Mao Zhen Hong to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 25 played minutes Andarilhos got a freekick which was hit by Caetano Velasques. 26 minutes into the match, Andarilhos's goal looked a bit too open when Fabrício Lustosa came free, but Jon Oblak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caetano Velasques hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Patrício Dias made in the 40th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Trifon Katsoulis. Academia Monte Gordo's Mao Zhen Hong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trifon Katsoulis in the 42nd minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Caetano Velasques in the 43rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Academia Monte Gordo's Adolfo Silva. After 44 played minutes Andarilhos got a freekick which was hit by Caetano Velasques. Andarilhos's Jon Oblak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolfo Silva in the 46th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Academia Monte Gordo's Fryderyk Grucza was substituted for Fabrício Lustosa. The wind increased when Fu Han Qiang made the kick off in the second half. Mao Zhen Hong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trifon Katsoulis in the 55th minute of the match. If Gonzalo Montiel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 62 minutes into the game, Patrício Dias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Andarilhos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Academia Monte Gordo the free kick. After a rather tough play, Andarilhos's Patrício Dias got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Fryderyk Grucza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andarilhos's Jon Oblak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Andarilhos from getting a goal against them. In the 69th minute Jorge Ruas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mao Zhen Hong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 72 minutes Academia Monte Gordo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jorge Ruas who took care of the corner kick. Kartal Kartalov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Academia Monte Gordo's Boruc Brysz got a free kick in the 78th minute. Damião Pinto hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Mao Zhen Hong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Ruas, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 83rd minute, Trifon Katsoulis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mao Zhen Hong was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Mao Zhen Hong stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gonzalo Montiel's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Academia Monte Gordo's zone, Trifon Katsoulis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mao Zhen Hong came out of the goal and Trifon Katsoulis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andarilhos's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
