Shi Xiong Yong made in the 30th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by AMLUCHO's Oğuzcan Lami. In the 39th minute Jackie Banks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Long Gang Sen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When Ludwig Kamper came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the FC Fura Balizas fans jumped to their feet. FC Fura Balizas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mati Magen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Eugeniusz Sanocki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Selahaddin Esentürk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
