The audience thought a goal was coming when Cássio Calçada got free with Cristiano Lage in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Pál Polyák came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the SITIO CITY fans jumped to their feet. Cássio Calçada was slow to take the kick. During this time KINGS FC's players had a chance to rest. In the 87th minute, Arias Navas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The KINGS FC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing SITIO CITY to win.
