Luís Caeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pankracy Zajonc having to interfere. After 7 minutes of play, MZ Fénix's Aras Görkem Kaymaz made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Armindo Salgado was left in no man's land by his defense there! 10 minutes into the game, Cai Yuan Yuan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Armindo Salgado. Cai Yuan Yuan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 13th minute Luís Caeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pankracy Zajonc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquim de Barros took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pankracy Zajonc. Pankracy Zajonc dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. With 24 minutes on the clock, Enzo Pellecchia commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in VB-Team fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 23rd minute. Penalty! In the 28th minute Cai Yuan Yuan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armindo Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mattias Jonasson made in the 36th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Luís Caeiro immediately put the ball in play. A collision led to VB-Team getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Mattias Jonasson hit a great ball. Aras Görkem Kaymaz struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Armindo Salgado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MZ Fénix. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luís Caeiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cai Yuan Yuan scored 5-1 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Armindo Salgado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind VB-Team's goalkeeper Armindo Salgado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cai Yuan Yuan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armindo Salgado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Aras Görkem Kaymaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. MZ Fénix's Alexandre Valido was substituted for Vladimiro Granja. VB-Team's Qiu Sheng Bang was substituted for Sandro Leitão. In the 69th match minute, MZ Fénix was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aras Görkem Kaymaz to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd minute of the match MZ Fénix got a corner. VB-Team's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Aras Görkem Kaymaz ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 73 played minutes MZ Fénix got a freekick which was hit by Basilio Ovando. In the 74th minute, Mattias Jonasson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 75 minutes into the game, MZ Fénix's Cai Yuan Yuan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Armindo Salgado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. Cai Yuan Yuan took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Armindo Salgado. Armindo Salgado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-1. 84 minutes into the match, VB-Team's goal looked a bit too open when Cai Yuan Yuan came free, but Armindo Salgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to MZ Fénix getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Vygantas Petrošius hit a great ball. VB-Team's Traian Hăvârneanu got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 91 played minutes MZ Fénix got a freekick which was hit by Florin Dragușin. After 95th play minutes Cai Yuan Yuan shot 8-1, a short shot which went by Armindo Salgado and just under the crossbar into goal.
