An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim de Barros in the 18th minute of play forced ZEZOM TEAM's goalkeeper Enzo Morais to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armindo Salgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Avram Râznicu in the 28th minute of play. A collision led to VB-Team getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. After the first half VB-Team were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joaquim de Barros to strike the kick off in the second half. Joaquim Teves blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Armindo Salgado having to make a save. In the 52nd minute, Mattias Jonasson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. VB-Team's Armindo Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Teves in the 53rd minute of play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. ZEZOM TEAM were victorious despite being under pressure from VB-Team for much of the match.
