After taking down the ball on Academia Monte Gordo's corner Arana Ponta fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Joacim First quite easily take care of the ball. Joacim First made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabrício Lustosa in the 13th minute of play. Joacim First showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabrício Lustosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Mao Zhen Hong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sílvio Luís Ceresso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Academia Monte Gordo's Adolfo Silva got a free kick in the 20th minute. The supporters of Academia Monte Gordo booed when Pinhote FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Loco Martin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joacim First was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 45th minute Guo Ming shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mao Zhen Hong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Academia Monte Gordo's goalkeeper Mao Zhen Hong, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Joacim First was a little too slow when Fabrício Lustosa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 0-2. Fabrício Lustosa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Joacim First made a huge save. Academia Monte Gordo were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after Pinhote FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Adolfo Silva took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Adolfo Silva got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Joacim First quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a little luck, Pinhote FC's Joacim First got control of the ball when Adolfo Silva tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 66th minute Sílvio Luís Ceresso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mao Zhen Hong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arana Ponta hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Academia Monte Gordo made a substitution. Kartal Kartalov replaced Pascual Mouricio. Fabrício Lustosa took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joacim First. Joacim First dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Fabrício Lustosa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Joacim First made a huge save. Joacim First made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabrício Lustosa in the 77th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabrício Lustosa got free with Joacim First in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mao Zhen Hong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sílvio Luís Ceresso in the 83rd minute of the match. Joacim First made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabrício Lustosa in the 84th minute. Fabrício Lustosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Joacim First tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Pinhote FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Academia Monte Gordo's performance. The match ended with a win for Academia Monte Gordo.
