Dino Veloso was slow to take the kick. During this time Sagarana Clube's players had a chance to rest. Dino Veloso made a great header on Sagarana Clube's corner, it was just that United.SF's Faustino Vermudo managed to reach the ball for a save. Faustino Vermudo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaldo dos Santos in the 16th minute of the match. When Celestino Raymon fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored United.SF's protests and gave Celestino Raymon a yellow card for diving instead. In the 31st match minute, United.SF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celestino Raymon to maneuver through the defense. Tobias Montez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kiko Aparecido having to interfere. The wind increased when Efrain Lordi made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Sagarana Clube booed when United.SF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aquilino Gipuzkoa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gilmar Netto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Faustino Vermudo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathias Berger in the 56th minute of play forced United.SF's goalkeeper Faustino Vermudo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute of the match Sagarana Clube got a corner. United.SF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dino Veloso ran over to the corner to take the kick. Sagarana Clube's Mathias Berger was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Faustino Vermudo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Mathias Berger struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Faustino Vermudo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sagarana Clube. The Sagarana Clube fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when Sagarana Clube's Mathias Berger looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 69th match minute, Sagarana Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilmar Netto to maneuver through the defense. Nicasio Maiorga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tobias Montez in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kiko Aparecido saved Sagarana Clube from getting behind. Faustino Vermudo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Salles in the 82nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in United.SF's zone, Mathias Berger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faustino Vermudo came out of the goal and Mathias Berger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 87th minute, Sagarana Clube's Arnaldo dos Santos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Faustino Vermudo. Faustino Vermudo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. In the 92nd minute, Erik Salles ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Faustino Vermudo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Sagarana Clube's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
