After having played for 2 minutes, Rodrigo Bastia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DON RAMON 72's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodrigo Bastia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 4 minutes, Serafino Tibalt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DON RAMON 72 and the Sagarana Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 4 played minutes DON RAMON 72 got a freekick which was hit by Serafino Tibalt. In the 8th match minute, Sagarana Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaldo dos Santos to maneuver through the defense. In the 9th minute of the match Salvador Mannie shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kiko Aparecido showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mathias Berger took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gaston Marcones. Gaston Marcones dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Kiko Aparecido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Bastia, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as DON RAMON 72's Enrique Quilo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Kiko Aparecido. That made the score 1-1 after 21 minutes of play. Kiko Aparecido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Bastia in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute of the match DON RAMON 72 got a corner. Sagarana Clube's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Patricio Gipuzkoa ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led DON RAMON 72's Patricio Gipuzkoa to fire away a dangerous shot which Kiko Aparecido despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Enrique Quilo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Kiko Aparecido made a huge save. Gaston Marcones showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathias Berger in the 30th minute of the match. After 31 played minutes DON RAMON 72 got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Mannie. After 35 minutes of play, Sagarana Clube's Arnaldo dos Santos made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gaston Marcones was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, DON RAMON 72's Serafino Tibalt got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute, Mathias Berger left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sagarana Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. The supporters of DON RAMON 72 booed when Sagarana Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathias Berger didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute Rodrigo Bastia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kiko Aparecido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Prospero Reynardo fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DON RAMON 72's protests and gave Prospero Reynardo a yellow card for diving instead. After 63 played minutes DON RAMON 72 got a freekick which was hit by Prospero Reynardo. Gaston Marcones was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mathias Berger showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 65 minute of play. The audience was convinced that Ezequiel Quiroga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kiko Aparecido was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. In the 68th match minute, Sagarana Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sidnei Trigo to maneuver through the defense. Kiko Aparecido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Bastia in the 71st minute of play. In the 79th minute, Sagarana Clube's Dino Veloso seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Dino Veloso the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Sagarana Clube protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Dino Veloso had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 78th minute, one of Sagarana Clube:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sagarana Clube. In the 81st minute there was a penalty for DON RAMON 72. Patricio Gipuzkoa stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Kiko Aparecido. 2-5. DON RAMON 72's Gaston Marcones played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Salles in the 84th minute of play. Arnaldo dos Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaston Marcones having to interfere. 90 minutes into the game, DON RAMON 72's Valentin Gabrio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kiko Aparecido made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-5. After 94 played minutes Sagarana Clube got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Fabiano Nogueira. In the 95th minute of the match Patricio Gipuzkoa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kiko Aparecido skillfully saved the ball. The Sagarana Clube supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sagarana Clube would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
