But to his dismay, Nicasio Maiorga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After 16 played minutes SAS got a freekick which was hit by Dadá Branco. Faustino Vermudo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cafu Mandrak, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 25th minute United.SF were awarded a corner. Elpidio Jurdan went to the cornerflag to take it. A collision led to United.SF getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Elpidio Jurdan hit a great ball. Faustino Vermudo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Germano Bertassi, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After 38 played minutes SAS got a freekick which was hit by Roger Tasso. Nicasio Maiorga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Beto Maia made a kick off. After 52 minutes, Cafu Mandrak mouthed his way into the referee's book. In the 66th minute Efrain Lordi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lúcio Rodrigues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Celestino Raymon managed to get in a good position for a shot. United.SF's supporters rose to their feet, but Celestino Raymon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After recieving a nice pass, SAS's Dadá Branco tried to score from far away in the 87th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 93 minutes into the match, United.SF's goalkeeper Faustino Vermudo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Beto Maia. Thanks to some nice moves Cafu Mandrak could shoot a difficult shot in the 96th minute, which Faustino Vermudo however easily saved by the left post. In the 97th minute, SAS's Beto Maia ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Faustino Vermudo. Faustino Vermudo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
