Cafu Mandrak's late challenge caught a Sundborn IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cafu Mandrak helped the player get up and apologised. After 14 minutes of play, Sundborn IF's Joel Ahlén made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lúcio Rodrigues was left in no man's land by his defense there! Germano Bertassi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Fritz Lindqvist made a huge save. In the 21st minute, Beto Maia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 22 minutes into the game, Sundborn IF's Morgan Flinck nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lúcio Rodrigues made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. A collision led to SAS getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Dudu de Souza hit a great ball. Eddie Björk, 25 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Fritz Lindqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Vieira in the 30th minute of play. Lúcio Rodrigues came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Sundborn IF's August Skålberg. But to his dismay, August Skålberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 37 minutes into the match, Cafu Mandrak had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fritz Lindqvist. Sundborn IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cafu Mandrak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. After 40 minutes of play, Sundborn IF's Joel Ahlén made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lúcio Rodrigues was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dudu de Souza during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 44th match minute, SAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dudu de Souza to maneuver through the defense. Lúcio Rodrigues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Ahlén, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half Sundborn IF were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The wind increased when Beto Maia made the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Joel Ahlén made it 1-5 with a short kick to the right side. SAS's Lúcio Rodrigues tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Eddie Björk charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eddie Björk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eddie Björk hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Sundborn IF's zone, Dadá Branco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fritz Lindqvist came out of the goal and Dadá Branco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 57 minutes into the match, Joel Ahlén notched a goal, 1-6, to the right of SAS's Lúcio Rodrigues. Lúcio Rodrigues was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sundborn IF's August Skålberg got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lúcio Rodrigues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Ahlén, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dag Häll sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Ahlén in the 76th minute of play forced SAS's goalkeeper Lúcio Rodrigues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joel Ahléns short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Lúcio Rodrigues to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 78 minutes into the match, SAS's goal looked a bit too open when August Skålberg came free, but Lúcio Rodrigues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lúcio Rodrigues was a little too slow when Joel Ahlén got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 1-8. When Morgan Flinck fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sundborn IF's protests and gave Morgan Flinck a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Sundborn IF getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Morgan Flinck hit a great ball. After 86 minutes of play, Sundborn IF's Joel Ahlén made it 1-9 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lúcio Rodrigues was left in no man's land by his defense there! 90 minutes into the match, SAS's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Ahlén came free, but Lúcio Rodrigues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. During the 91st minute of the match Morgan Flinck completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Morgan Flinck a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Morgan Flinck kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Sundborn IF's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
