Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Aatos Koivisto kicked off to start the match. After 4 minutes, Harriet Santoyo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Manchester United and the Uruguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Francisco Seco sped through Manchester United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Joonas Tirkkonen. Harriet Santoyo hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lu Cheng Di, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Gisbert in the 15th minute of play forced Manchester United's goalkeeper Joonas Tirkkonen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximiliano Escribano kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 19th minute, Camilo Covarrubias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 21 minutes into the game, Alpo Sillgren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Manchester United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Uruguay the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Manchester United fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 21st minute. Penalty! The referee gave Uruguay a penalty, 22 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jaime Cazalla, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Manchester United's Joonas Tirkkonen. 0-2. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Uruguay from getting a goal against them. Manchester United's Aatos Koivisto came free and shot a quick shot against goal 28 minutes in the game, fortunately Joaquin Gayoso had problems saving as it came toward the left post. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Uruguay's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jaakoppi Vilmunen was slow to take the kick. During this time Manchester United's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Manchester United's corner Ferhat Gürçınar fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Joaquin Gayoso quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of Manchester United booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Seco didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Seco in the 33rd minute of play forced Manchester United's goalkeeper Joonas Tirkkonen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ferhat Gürçınar hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. During the 34th minute of the match Alpo Sillgren completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Alpo Sillgren a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Joonas Tirkkonen had in the 36thth minute some difficulties stopping Jaime Cazalla's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 36 minutes into the game, Jaime Cazalla cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Joonas Tirkkonen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 44 minutes into the game, Nuutti Jokiranta recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Joaquin Gayoso. Nuutti Jokiranta showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. In the 48th minute, Francisco Seco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Joonas Tirkkonen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Seco in the 58th minute. Aatos Koivisto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 63 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Aatos Koivisto came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aatos Koivisto in the 66th minute of the match. Maximiliano Escribano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Joonas Tirkkonen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute Aatos Koivisto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberto Gisbert's late challenge caught a Manchester United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alberto Gisbert helped the player get up and apologised. Manchester United's Arsi Harju was substituted for 狄银铮. Alberto Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 85th minute Uruguay were awarded a corner. Jaime Cazalla went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Uruguay's Jaime Cazalla to fire away a dangerous shot which Joonas Tirkkonen despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Uruguay's Bruno Beldad quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Harriet Santoyo, made in the 88th minute of the game. Aatos Koivisto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aatos Koivisto in the 97th minute of play.
