In the 60th minute, Felipe Ros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 60 played minutes, Manchester United's Jaakoppi Vilmunen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Manchester United reached it. In the 62nd minute, Aatos Koivisto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Manchester United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aatos Koivisto in the 75th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Manchester United's goalkeeper Joonas Tirkkonen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isidoro Sarmiento. The supporters of Manchester United booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Ros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manchester United's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
