The audience thought a goal was coming when Ziemowit Olchowy got free with Dante Lacasa in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 28 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FC Delta83 Tulcea's Arminas Kiudulas. Arminas Kiudulas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 32nd minute of play forced FC Delta83 Tulcea's goalkeeper Arminas Kiudulas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The FC Delta83 Tulcea players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mexico were winning 0-2.

Arminas Kiudulas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. The audience was convinced that Damian Gugea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Lacasa was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Arminas Kiudulas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 61st minute of play. In the 63rd minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. Lautaro Mancebo struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Arminas Kiudulas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. 75 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Aurel Cârlan came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, FC Delta83 Tulcea's goalkeeper Arminas Kiudulas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Delta83 Tulcea's Zé Carlos Nascimento was substituted for Celedonio Rayman. 84 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Delta83 Tulcea's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. Arminas Kiudulas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 88th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arminas Kiudulas. FC Delta83 Tulcea's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Gaona was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. A collision led to FC Delta83 Tulcea getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Aurel Cârlan hit a great ball. Alberto Tafalla's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 96thth minute, Arminas Kiudulas skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The Mexico players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
