In the 4th minute Francisco Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Du Chong Le saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximiliano Escribano kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Du Chong Le made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 14th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Seco in the 15th minute of play forced Djurgården IF's goalkeeper Du Chong Le to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the game, Djurgården IF's Alexander Nilsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joaquin Gayoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 29th minute Maximiliano Escribano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Du Chong Le saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sven-Edvin Lindkvist received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Joaquin Gayoso came out and tried to block the shot, but Sven-Edvin Lindkvist slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 35th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sven-Edvin Lindkvist in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. Alexander Nilsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Joaquin Gayoso made a huge save. Mikolaj Siwek hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Francisco Seco to strike the kick off in the second half. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Nilsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 57 minutes into the match, Djurgården IF's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Escribano came free, but Du Chong Le reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 61 minutes Uruguay's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Arvin Ljungberg who took care of the corner kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Alexander Nilsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Djurgården IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexander Nilsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquin Gayoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Du Chong Le showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Seco in the 67th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute of the match, Francisco Seco got a very nice opportunity to score, but Du Chong Le was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Mikolaj Siwek hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. If Francisco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute Uruguay were awarded a corner. Jaime Cazalla went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Uruguay's corner Bruno Beldad fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Du Chong Le quite easily take care of the ball.
