Rudi Stegeman hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Ludwig Ström who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Kåre Asklund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Alex Chicote hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emil Alebom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kåre Asklund in the 21st minute of the match. In the 29th minute of the match, Kåre Asklund tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jonathan Ferrant saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 34th minute. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Loosers's Kåre Asklund. But to his dismay, Kåre Asklund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kåre Asklund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 43 minutes, Jose Correa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the FC Loosers players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC Loosers booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kåre Asklund in the 44th minute of play. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. In the 46th minute of the match Rudi Stegeman sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant skillfully saved the ball. Kåre Asklunds short, quick shot in the 47thth minute got Jonathan Ferrant to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emil Alebom having to make a save. 55 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Kåre Asklund came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute, Ludwig Ström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Loosers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Alex Chicote kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kåre Asklund in the 63rd minute of play. Holger Viberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rudi Stegeman was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Loosers's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Timmy Bergdal managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After 71 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Kåre Asklund put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kåre Asklund in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ludwig Ström's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. In the 79th minute Ludwig Ström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Holger Viberg struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Loosers. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kåre Asklund in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. 84 minutes in the game Rudi Stegeman did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Xande Shevchenko. In the 86th minute Xande Shevchenko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kåre Asklund in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. There was no doubt that FC Loosers were the better team. FC Loosers's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
