Olimpiu Bărănescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 10th minute of play forced ФСК Буковина ★DAC★'s goalkeeper Danny-Rafael Junior to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute, Ivan Pătrășcanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Danny-Rafael Junior made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 15th minute of play. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 18 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Zorita. In the 29th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danny-Rafael Junior saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices got a free kick in the 30th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erik Paaske got free with Julio Vera in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 32nd minute of the match ФСК Буковина ★DAC★ got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Calistrat Ciocârlan ran over to the corner to take the kick. ФСК Буковина ★DAC★'s Calistrat Ciocârlan was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ivan Pătrășcanu in the 39th minute. In the 39th minute, ФСК Буковина ★DAC★'s Ivan Pătrășcanu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. ФСК Буковина ★DAC★'s Erik Paaske got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Eliodor Ardeleanu replaced Aytek Özdener. 54 minutes into the match, ФСК Буковина ★DAC★'s goalkeeper Danny-Rafael Junior had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Montenegro. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Danny-Rafael Junior came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristian Sancho slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 55th minute. Erik Paaske sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. ФСК Буковина ★DAC★'s Danny-Rafael Junior played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 59th minute of play. In the 68th minute Erik Paaske shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute, Ivan Pătrășcanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Paaske in the 73rd minute of play. ФСК Буковина ★DAC★'s Danny-Rafael Junior proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save ФСК Буковина ★DAC★ from getting a goal against them. 79 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Airūnas Endrulis came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Airūnas Endrulis in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
