Isac Andberg came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Zurich's Iwo Borcz. But to his dismay, Iwo Borcz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Isac Andberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angel Panagonov, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kang Xuan Liang in the 16th minute of play forced Fjugesta's goalkeeper Isac Andberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fjugesta's Isac Andberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iwan Cieliczka in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iwo Borcz in the 21st minute of play forced Fjugesta's goalkeeper Isac Andberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tony Arhenius's late challenge caught a FC Zurich's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tony Arhenius helped the player get up and apologised. After 22 played minutes Fjugesta got a freekick which was hit by Tony Arhenius. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kurt Mattsson got free with Ali Kaan Acartürk in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Isac Andberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iwan Cieliczka in the 27th minute of play. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iwan Cieliczka made a kick off. The FC Zurich fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when FC Zurich's Iwan Cieliczka looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iwan Cieliczka in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isac Andberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kang Xuan Liang could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Isac Andberg made a huge save. In the 64th minute, Kang Xuan Liang got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kang Xuan Liang came free with the goalkeeper in the 66th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Isac Andberg could save by the left post. 67 minutes into the match, FC Zurich's goal looked a bit too open when Manfred Västerstrand came free, but Ali Kaan Acartürk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute, Iwan Cieliczka left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Zurich fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. But to his dismay, Kurt Mattsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 2-5 when Manfred Västerstrand sped through FC Zurich's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ali Kaan Acartürk. Isac Andberg made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Kang Xuan Liang sent off a good shot on target. Kang Xuan Liang received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Isac Andberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Kang Xuan Liang slotted it home off the left post making it 2-6 in the 86th minute. Isac Andberg made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Iwan Cieliczka sent off a good shot on target. Isac Andberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iwo Borcz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Zurich's Ali Kaan Acartürk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manfred Västerstrand in the 92nd minute of play. Iwan Cieliczka in the 94thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Isac Andberg, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Kang Xuan Liang took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isac Andberg. Isac Andberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-7. When the final whistle sounded FC Zurich left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Fjugesta.
