The audience thought a goal was coming when Manfred Västerstrand got free with Andreas Andersson in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Fjugesta defense, Kristoffer Bjurström kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isac Andberg. The Fjugesta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isac Andberg should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Fjugesta's Isac Andberg got control of the ball when Roy Nordström tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Stockholm IF supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Stockholm IF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
