With a couple of smart ball manuevers Augustinas Gavorskis in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ali Kaan Acartürk saved FC Zurich from getting behind. Deportivo Medievales's Gustavo Gar quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Stefan Isaksson, made in the 7th minute of the game. Ali Kaan Acartürk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joseph Engelborgh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Deportivo Medievales were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after FC Zurich's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomas Sazon took the corner. After taking down the ball on Deportivo Medievales's corner Tomas Sazon fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ali Kaan Acartürk quite easily take care of the ball. Ali Kaan Acartürk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nino Manfredi in the 12th minute of play. When Nino Manfredi came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Deportivo Medievales fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nino Manfredi couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Augustinas Gavorskis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ali Kaan Acartürk. That made the score 3-0 in the 21 minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, FC Zurich's Iwan Cieliczka sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Robert Abbondanzieri narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ali Kaan Acartürk made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Augustinas Gavorskis sent off a good shot on target. 32 minutes into the match, FC Zurich's goalkeeper Ali Kaan Acartürk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Augustinas Gavorskis. Robert Abbondanzieri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iwan Cieliczka in the 34th minute of play. Augustinas Gavorskiss short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Ali Kaan Acartürk to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Augustinas Gavorskis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robert Abbondanzieri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iwan Cieliczka in the 41st minute of the match. After 45 minutes FC Zurich's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tomas Sazon who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Nino Manfredi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ali Kaan Acartürk quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Augustinas Gavorskis was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the game, Augustinas Gavorskis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Ali Kaan Acartürk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 59th minute Augustinas Gavorskis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Kaan Acartürk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Deportivo Medievales's Augustinas Gavorskis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ali Kaan Acartürk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Deportivo Medievales's Eleuterio Ovando was substituted for Gustavo Gar. 65 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Zurich's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Deportivo Medievales's Tomas Sazon was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ali Kaan Acartürk in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 67th minute of the match, Angel Panagonov got a very nice opportunity to score, but Robert Abbondanzieri was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 69 minutes into the game, Deportivo Medievales's Augustinas Gavorskis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ali Kaan Acartürk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. In the 72nd minute Augustinas Gavorskis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Kaan Acartürk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Augustinas Gavorskis put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ali Kaan Acartürk. Ali Kaan Acartürk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augustinas Gavorskis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nino Manfredi hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Deportivo Medievales made a substitution. Erubiel Aresti replaced Tytus Ziemniak. The supporters of FC Zurich booed when Deportivo Medievales was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nino Manfredi didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Augustinas Gavorskis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ali Kaan Acartürk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augustinas Gavorskis in the 84th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augustinas Gavorskis in the 87th minute of play forced FC Zurich's goalkeeper Ali Kaan Acartürk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute Augustinas Gavorskis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Kaan Acartürk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Augustinas Gavorskis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Medievales's supporters rose to their feet, but Augustinas Gavorskis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ali Kaan Acartürk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ali Kaan Acartürk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augustinas Gavorskis, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Eriberto Dalmai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ali Kaan Acartürk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augustinas Gavorskis in the 94th minute of play. Augustinas Gavorskis took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ali Kaan Acartürk. Ali Kaan Acartürk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Deportivo Medievales walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
