Dino Zoff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miroslaw Kisielka in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Wyszyny's Miroslaw Kisielka sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dino Zoff narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Wyszyny's Marian Hendzel got a free kick in the 25th minute. If Eugen Boldur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dino Zoff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofil Kosowski in the 34th minute of play. After having played for 36 minutes, Ludomir Serwacki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wyszyny's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ludomir Serwacki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 40th minute, Eugen Boldur made a precise shot to the right of Robert Kaczanka. Wyszyny's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. With a little luck, Wyszyny's Robert Kaczanka got control of the ball when Eugen Boldur tried to sneak it across the goal line. Valer Uduleanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Robert Kaczanka made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Costel Diaconu might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Robert Kaczanka. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Costel Diaconu ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valer Uduleanu in the 60th minute of play forced Wyszyny's goalkeeper Robert Kaczanka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dino Zoff made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Ludomir Serwacki sent off a good shot on target. Cormoranii -MM-'s Cornel Sălcudeanu quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Igor Kapelski, made in the 67th minute of the game. 70 minutes into the match, Cormoranii -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Miroslaw Kisielka came free, but Dino Zoff reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute Teofil Kosowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dino Zoff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th minute, Eugen Boldur made a precise shot to the right of Robert Kaczanka. Wyszyny's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. After a rather tough play, Cormoranii -MM-'s Cornel Sălcudeanu got a free kick in the 81st minute. The supporters of Cormoranii -MM- booed when Wyszyny was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miroslaw Kisielka didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valer Uduleanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roberto Perfumo during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
