With an all-out effort, Szajk LC's Isac Andberg threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zalán Kovács, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 43rd minute of the match Ture Dahlbom shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but András Horváth showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Csongor Csorba got free with Isac Andberg in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 47th minute Kurt Mattsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but András Horváth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zalán Kovács to strike the kick off in the second half. Isac Andberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Isac Andberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tibor Bósa, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Fjugesta players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Szajk LC.
