Cormoranii -MM-'s Dino Zoff proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Cormoranii -MM- from getting a goal against them. EB Specjal Gdansk's Wincenty Sikola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valer Uduleanu in the 15th minute of play. Wincenty Sikola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valer Uduleanu in the 18th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cormoranii -MM-'s Cornel Sălcudeanu got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Kazimierz Kossakowski came free with the goalkeeper in the 43rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dino Zoff could save by the left post. Wincenty Sikola came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Cormoranii -MM-'s Valer Uduleanu. But to his dismay, Valer Uduleanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After the first half Cormoranii -MM- were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valer Uduleanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Cormoranii -MM-'s zone, Kazimierz Kossakowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dino Zoff came out of the goal and Kazimierz Kossakowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kazimierz Kossakowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With an all-out effort, Cormoranii -MM-'s Wincenty Sikola threw himself towards the right post 66 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cornel Panaitescu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 67th match minute, Cormoranii -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valer Uduleanu to maneuver through the defense. EB Specjal Gdansk made a substitution. Izydor Drebit replaced Szymon Paciuszko. After 68 played minutes Cormoranii -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Valer Uduleanu. The supporters of EB Specjal Gdansk booed when Cormoranii -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nils-Åke Nyström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dino Zoff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kazimierz Kossakowski in the 70th minute of the match. With a little luck, EB Specjal Gdansk's Wincenty Sikola got control of the ball when Valer Uduleanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eugen Boldur got free with Wincenty Sikola in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, EB Specjal Gdansk's Dane Toth got a free kick in the 79th minute. The audience was convinced that Kazimierz Kossakowski's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dino Zoff was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Dino Zoff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kazimierz Kossakowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute, Kazimierz Kossakowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
