After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Zalán Kovács managed to get in a good position for a shot. Szajk LC's supporters rose to their feet, but Zalán Kovács was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raoul Boehnke breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. KIRIKKALESPOR's Raoul Boehnke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Csongor Csorba in the 20th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Szajk LC's goal looked a bit too open when Paul Caniggia came free, but András Horváth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raoul Boehnke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Árpád Konkoly in the 25th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Csongor Csorba got free with Raoul Boehnke in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tudor Orășan was the one to do the kick off. The Szajk LC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching KIRIKKALESPOR's performance. The match ended with a win for KIRIKKALESPOR.
