With an extended leg and a bit of luck Froilan Dimas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Froilan Dimas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramiro Paul, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Froilan Dimas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cornel Panaitescu in the 7th minute of play. Thiago Nueva struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Dino Zoff didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Armilla. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Thiago Nueva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Armilla's supporters rose to their feet, but Thiago Nueva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dino Zoff breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 13 minutes into the game, Ramiro Paul cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Froilan Dimas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Froilan Dimas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramiro Paul, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Cormoranii -MM-'s Dino Zoff proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Cormoranii -MM- from getting a goal against them. After 22 minutes of play, Armilla's Santiago Sidoro made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dino Zoff was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ramiro Paul received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Froilan Dimas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cormoranii -MM-'s Dino Zoff proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Cormoranii -MM- from getting a goal against them. In the 32nd minute Cornel Panaitescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Froilan Dimas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Armilla defense, Ramiro Paul kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Froilan Dimas. The Armilla fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Froilan Dimas should have stopped the shot. Thiago Nueva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Santiago Sidoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramiro Paul in the 41st minute of play forced Armilla's goalkeeper Froilan Dimas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Froilan Dimas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramiro Paul in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Dino Zoff made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santiago Sidoro in the 51st minute of play. After 51 played minutes Armilla got a freekick which was hit by Thiago Nueva. Ramiro Paul who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Froilan Dimas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cormoranii -MM-'s goalkeeper Dino Zoff, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Ramiro Paul's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Froilan Dimas was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. In the 65th match minute, Armilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Etxave Zapater to maneuver through the defense.
