The supporters of Divorciados FC booed when Merceron United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ennio Marcantonio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nestor Valery came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Merceron United's Alex De Toni. But to his dismay, Alex De Toni quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 10 minutes into the match, Merceron United's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Brion came free, but Cristoforo Iacomini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Merceron United's Alex De Toni got a free kick in the 14th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Merceron United's goalkeeper Cristoforo Iacomini had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Herminio Xacintu. 19 minutes into the game, Cosme Mederi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Divorciados FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Merceron United the free kick. Merceron United's Ennio Marcantonio got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Divorciados FC's Nestor Valery played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex De Toni in the 26th minute of play. Nestor Valery came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Merceron United's Alex De Toni. But to his dismay, Alex De Toni quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 29 minutes into the game, Ennio Guidoni was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Merceron United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Divorciados FC the free kick. Ennio Guidoni hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Benito Ferdinand could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Cristoforo Iacomini made a huge save. In the 35th minute, Benito Ferdinand ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristoforo Iacomini was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Nestor Valery didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emilio Conti went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex De Toni in the 40th minute of play forced Divorciados FC's goalkeeper Nestor Valery to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st match minute, Divorciados FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cosme Mederi to maneuver through the defense. Octavio Erroman charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Octavio Erroman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Divorciados FC's Octavio Erroman got a free kick in the 45th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fernando Brion was the one to do the kick off. Nestor Valery made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alex De Toni in the 51st minute. Cristoforo Iacomini came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Divorciados FC's Benito Ferdinand. But to his dismay, Benito Ferdinand quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. In the 64th minute, Emilio Conti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristoforo Iacomini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Brion in the 65th minute of play. The supporters of Divorciados FC booed when Merceron United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilio Conti didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristoforo Iacomini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benito Ferdinand, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Cristoforo Iacomini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benito Ferdinand, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute, one of Divorciados FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Divorciados FC. Ennio Marcantonio placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! A collision led to Divorciados FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Cosme Mederi hit a great ball. Cristoforo Iacomini came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Divorciados FC's Benito Ferdinand. But to his dismay, Benito Ferdinand quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Divorciados FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
