The Engineers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mike Little was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to The Engineers getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Mike Little hit a great ball. After having played for 12 minutes, Arnaldo Jurdan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Espinillos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnaldo Jurdan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Engineers's Kieran Floyd proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save The Engineers from getting a goal against them. In the 16th match minute, The Engineers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ludomir Bartochowski to maneuver through the defense. Seyfi Türk took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isaac Guzman. Isaac Guzman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 28 minutes into the match, The Engineers's goalkeeper Kieran Floyd had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Armando Bastia. In the 29th minute, Adolfo Tipi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Seyfi Türk charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Seyfi Türk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 33rd minute, Seyfi Türk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When The Engineers's Mike Little in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Armando Bastia to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Los Espinillos FC's Adolfo Tipi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kieran Floyd made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 60th minute Armando Bastia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kieran Floyd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isaac Guzman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mike Little in the 61st minute. Kieran Floyd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolfo Tipi, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Adolfo Tipi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kieran Floyd having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, The Engineers's goal looked a bit too open when Adolfo Tipi came free, but Kieran Floyd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
