To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rene Tristan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arnaldo Jurdan went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When Arnaldo Jurdan fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Espinillos FC's protests and gave Arnaldo Jurdan a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Los Espinillos FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Arnaldo Jurdan hit a great ball. Cristian Aznaro's late challenge caught a Los Espinillos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristian Aznaro helped the player get up and apologised. In the 13th match minute, C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Aznaro to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 15 minutes, Benedicto Ruy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Espinillos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benedicto Ruy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Arnaldo Jurdan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute, Adolfo Tipi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Espinillos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Arnaldo Jurdan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnaldo Jurdan took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rene Tristan. Rene Tristan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Adolfo Tipi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Rene Tristan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 37 minutes into the game, Los Espinillos FC's Armando Bastia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rene Tristan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. In the 40th minute, Adolfo Tipi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's Cipriano Paulin got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Armando Bastia might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rene Tristan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Armando Bastia ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 46th minute Arnaldo Jurdan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Tristan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when Gaston Matthew made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's Victoriano Acosta got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute, Armando Bastia made a precise shot to the right of Rene Tristan. C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-8. In the 63rd minute, Los Espinillos FC's Adolfo Tipi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-9. The Los Espinillos FC fans' excitement grew in the 66th match minute when Los Espinillos FC's Arnaldo Jurdan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-10 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Rene Tristan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Jurdan in the 71st minute of play. When Victor Manex fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Espinillos FC's protests and gave Victor Manex a yellow card for diving instead. Victor Manex kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Adolfo Tipi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adolfo Tipi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Rene Tristan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's Rene Tristan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE from getting a goal against them. 93 minutes into the match, C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Jurdan came free, but Rene Tristan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaston Matthew in the 96th minute of play forced Los Espinillos FC's goalkeeper Isaac Guzman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Los Espinillos FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
