Moreno Gaztelumendi came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Divorciados FC's Fernando Brion. But to his dismay, Fernando Brion quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herminio Xacintu in the 16th minute of play forced Hogwarts's goalkeeper Moreno Gaztelumendi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Moreno Gaztelumendi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Brion, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Moreno Gaztelumendi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benito Ferdinand in the 20th minute of the match. Moreno Gaztelumendi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, Divorciados FC's goalkeeper Ezequiel Centurión had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonardo Reizabal. In the 42nd match minute, Divorciados FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herminio Xacintu to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute Fernando Brion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moreno Gaztelumendi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 47 minutes, Cagua Miranes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hogwarts and the Divorciados FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Divorciados FC booed when Hogwarts was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cagua Miranes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 48 minutes into the match, Hogwarts's goal looked a bit too open when Benito Ferdinand came free, but Moreno Gaztelumendi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Divorciados FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fernando Brion stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ezequiel Centurión made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Caicedo in the 52nd minute of play. Apostolos Mantzourakis kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Brion in the 60th minute of play forced Hogwarts's goalkeeper Moreno Gaztelumendi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Apostolos Mantzourakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezequiel Centurión having to interfere. In the 93rd minute Fernando Brion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moreno Gaztelumendi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Danilo Guillen's late challenge caught a Hogwarts's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Danilo Guillen helped the player get up and apologised. In the 94th minute, Danilo Guillen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Divorciados FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
