Fabinho Pitta started the match with the kick off. After 5 played minutes Los Espinillos FC got a freekick which was hit by Luis Orlondon. A hard shot by Eddy Beckett from long distance, 5 minutes into the match, got Marcus Silva's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabinho Pitta in the 9th minute of play forced Los Espinillos FC's goalkeeper Marcus Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 12 in the game by Fabinho Pitta from a close distance when the talented Marcus Silva managed to make a qualified save. Los Espinillos FC's players were relieved. Fabinho Pittas short, quick shot in the 13thth minute got Marcus Silva to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Los Espinillos FC booed when The Engineers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eddy Beckett didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes into the match, The Engineers's goal looked a bit too open when Jimeno Gumaro came free, but Kieran Floyd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Engineers's Kieran Floyd played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimeno Gumaro in the 18th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Jimeno Gumaro made a precise shot to the right of Kieran Floyd. The Engineers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Jimeno Gumaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Espinillos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jimeno Gumaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kieran Floyd breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kieran Floyd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolfo Tipi, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute, Orlando Eleder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabinho Pitta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcus Silva having to interfere. Adolfo Tipi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kieran Floyd read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabinho Pitta got free with Marcus Silva in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Los Espinillos FC's zone, Ludomir Bartochowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcus Silva came out of the goal and Ludomir Bartochowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zula Munko to make the kick off. Marcus Silva didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ludomir Bartochowski went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. 64 minutes into the match, The Engineers's goalkeeper Kieran Floyd had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zula Munko. After having played for 65 minutes, Adolfo Tipi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Espinillos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adolfo Tipi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Espinillos FC's goalkeeper Marcus Silva, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Engineers's Kieran Floyd proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save The Engineers from getting a goal against them. Cliff Welch's late challenge caught a Los Espinillos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cliff Welch helped the player get up and apologised. In the 73rd minute, Cliff Welch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 75th minute by Jimeno Gumaro got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Zula Munko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Kieran Floyd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcus Silva stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ludomir Bartochowski's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. After a rather tough play, Los Espinillos FC's Benito Rafe got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Adolfo Tipi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Zula Munko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Espinillos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Zula Munko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kieran Floyd breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
