In the 10th minute of the match Alberigo Cavallucci sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Charles De Meur skillfully saved the ball. Miklós Szalay took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dario Gelsomini. Dario Gelsomini dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Dario Gelsomini came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Berkshire Harthaway FC.'s Miklós Szalay. But to his dismay, Miklós Szalay quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 20th minute, Tibor Székely ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dario Gelsomini was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Dario Gelsomini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miklós Szalay in the 24th minute of the match. Róbert Döbrögi scored 0-4 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dario Gelsomini, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Emilio Conti fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Merceron United's protests and gave Emilio Conti a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Merceron United's Emilio Conti got a free kick in the 31st minute. Berkshire Harthaway FC.'s Tibor Székely got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dario Gelsomini came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Berkshire Harthaway FC.'s Róbert Döbrögi. But to his dismay, Róbert Döbrögi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. After 36 minutes of play, Berkshire Harthaway FC.'s Róbert Döbrögi made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dario Gelsomini was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alex De Toni in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Charles De Meur saved Berkshire Harthaway FC. from getting behind. Dario Gelsomini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miklós Szalay, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ennio Marcantonio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Federico Del Giudice lost his temper 52 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After a rather tough play, Merceron United's Federico Del Giudice got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 53rd minute, Tibor Székely got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 59th minute, Miklós Szalay ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dario Gelsomini was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. After 63 minutes, Ennio Marcantonio made it 1-7 with a short kick to the right side. Berkshire Harthaway FC.'s Charles De Meur tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Charles De Meur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ennio Marcantonio in the 65th minute of play. Merceron United's Dario Gelsomini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tibor Székely in the 68th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Berkshire Harthaway FC.'s Tibor Székely slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dario Gelsomini. That made the score 1-8 after 69 minutes of play. 72 minutes into the match, Merceron United's Ennio Marcantonio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Charles De Meur narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bertold Berki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute Róbert Döbrögi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Gelsomini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bertold Berki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Gelsomini having to interfere. Ennio Marcantonio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dario Gelsomini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Róbert Döbrögi, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. After 94 played minutes, Merceron United's Alex De Toni shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Charles De Meur came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Merceron United reached it. Berkshire Harthaway FC.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
