Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ennio Marcantonio made the kick off which started today's match. After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Alifonso Apablaza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cobresal's supporters rose to their feet, but Alifonso Apablaza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dario Gelsomini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 3rd match minute, Merceron United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Federico Del Giudice to maneuver through the defense. Dario Gelsomini came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Cobresal's Andolín Duvauchelle. But to his dismay, Andolín Duvauchelle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. When Merceron United's Alex De Toni in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cobresal's goalie prevented a goal. Merceron United's Dario Gelsomini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Merceron United from getting a goal against them. Dario Gelsomini was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Andolín Duvauchelle showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 16 minute of play. Dario Gelsomini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andolín Duvauchelle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dario Gelsomini made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Renato Cesarini sent off a good shot on target. After 29 minutes Cobresal's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alberigo Cavallucci who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Alberigo Cavallucci got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Constantin Ionaș quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Andolín Duvauchelle came free with the goalkeeper in the 32nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dario Gelsomini could save by the left post. Constantin Ionaș showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex De Toni, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Renato Cesarini took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dario Gelsomini. Dario Gelsomini dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andolín Duvauchelle to make the kick off. Dario Gelsomini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renato Cesarini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cobresal's Constantin Ionaș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ennio Marcantonio in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex De Toni in the 56th minute of play forced Cobresal's goalkeeper Constantin Ionaș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dario Gelsomini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alifonso Apablaza in the 58th minute of the match. Merceron United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Renato Cesarini was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. In the 71st match minute, Merceron United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Federico Del Giudice to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute, Ennio Marcantonio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Constantin Ionaș was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. Cobresal made a substitution. Florín Sances replaced Alifonso Apablaza. Dario Gelsomini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andolín Duvauchelle, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Dario Gelsomini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juliano Armstrong in the 86th minute of play. After 87 minutes, Andolín Duvauchelle made it 7-1 with a short kick to the right side. Merceron United's Dario Gelsomini tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Merceron United defense, Florín Sances kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dario Gelsomini. The Merceron United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dario Gelsomini should have stopped the shot. Cobresal walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
