Alberigo Cavallucci was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 12 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute, one of Merceron United:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Merceron United. In the 16th match minute, Hogwarts was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Asensio Carneiro to maneuver through the defense. Leonardo Reizabal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Dario Gelsomini made a huge save. Ennio Marcantonio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Moreno Gaztelumendi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Dario Gelsomini was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sebastian Caicedo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 25 minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, Sebastian Caicedo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dario Gelsomini. Sebastian Caicedo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ennio Marcantonio in the 31st minute of play forced Hogwarts's goalkeeper Moreno Gaztelumendi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Merceron United's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ubaldo Villarruel 33 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 4-0. Dario Gelsomini was a little too slow when Sebastian Caicedo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 5-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Ubaldo Villarruel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dario Gelsomini. That made the score 6-0 in the 41 minute of play. Merceron United's Dario Gelsomini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Merceron United from getting a goal against them. Dario Gelsomini was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sebastian Caicedo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 7-0 in the 47 minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ennio Marcantonio made a kick off. Dario Gelsomini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ubaldo Villarruel in the 78th minute of the match. Dario Gelsomini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Reizabal, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 83 minutes into the match, Sebastian Caicedo notched a goal, 10-0, to the right of Merceron United's Dario Gelsomini. Dario Gelsomini was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 87th minute, Ambrossi Pallar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ennio Marcantonio hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Merceron United's Dario Gelsomini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Caicedo in the 90th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Hogwarts's Cagua Miranes got a free kick in the 98th minute.
