The Branco FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilfredo Manilan should have stopped the shot. Sotiris Vergos hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 23rd match minute, Cobresal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Loreno Fonseca to maneuver through the defense. Wilfredo Manilan came out of the goal and Pere Jordi Jofre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
