An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Bottone in the 6th minute of play forced Foot Ball Club di Roma's goalkeeper Alvaro Pardini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexander Bottone who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Alvaro Pardini when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 14 minutes into the match, A.S. Udinese's goal looked a bit too open when Biagio Pallini came free, but Alvaro Rotili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alvaro Rotili took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Biagio Pallini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alvaro Rotili stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Biagio Pallini's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Biagio Pallini might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alvaro Rotili. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Biagio Pallini ran back to his position shaking his head. Alvaro Pardini made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexander Bottone in the 22nd minute. 26 minutes into the match, Foot Ball Club di Roma's goalkeeper Alvaro Pardini had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexander Bottone. The audience was convinced that Alexander Bottone's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alvaro Pardini was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Alvaro Rotili came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Foot Ball Club di Roma's Biagio Pallini. But to his dismay, Biagio Pallini quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Alexander Bottone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A sloppy throw-in by Corrado Falasca in the 39th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Foot Ball Club di Roma's Alessandro Anastasi. Alvaro Rotili made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Biagio Pallini in the 40th minute of play. Alessandro Anastasi made in the 41st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by A.S. Udinese's Alessio Zoccali. In the 44th minute, Biagio Pallini made a precise shot to the right of Alvaro Rotili. A.S. Udinese's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alexander Bottone was the one to do the kick off. Nicola Zalewski kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Alvaro Rotili took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Biagio Pallini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Foot Ball Club di Roma's Alvaro Pardini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexander Bottone in the 60th minute of play. Foot Ball Club di Roma made a substitution. Biagio Scoca replaced Biagio Pallini. After a rather tough play, Foot Ball Club di Roma's Nicola Zalewski got a free kick in the 64th minute. Udinese was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Corrado Falasca to maneuver through the defense. A.S. Udinese's Ercole Fiorentino was substituted for Alexander Bottone. The supporters of Foot Ball Club di Roma booed when A.S. Udinese was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Corrado Falasca didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Ercole Fiorentino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alvaro Pardini was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Ercole Fiorentino struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Alvaro Pardini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.S. Udinese. Alvaro Pardini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ercole Fiorentino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alvaro Pardini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ercole Fiorentino, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Alvaro Rotili showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Biagio Scoca in the 77th minute of the match. Alvaro Rotili made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fedele Cimino in the 81st minute of play. Foot Ball Club di Roma's Alvaro Pardini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ercole Fiorentino in the 82nd minute of play. In the 84th minute, Ercole Fiorentino made a precise shot to the right of Alvaro Pardini. Foot Ball Club di Roma's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After 88 played minutes A.S. Udinese got a freekick which was hit by Olivér Bierhoff. Biagio Di Marco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 90th minute, Alessandro Anastasi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ercole Fiorentino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Foot Ball Club di Roma's Alvaro Rotili threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fedele Cimino, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Alvaro Rotili made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fedele Cimino in the 94th minute of play. The A.S. Udinese supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Foot Ball Club di Roma's performance. The match ended with a win for Foot Ball Club di Roma.
