El Renacer del Quijano FC were awarded a corner in the 42th minute after Rafaela FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Peneios Protopsaltis took the corner. The corner ended in Peneios Protopsaltis almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Rafaela FC's Inocencio Veronica did a great save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Teobaldo Ubarna made the kick off in the second half. El Renacer del Quijano FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
