The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Esteban José Andrada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Belo Alvarez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Esteban José Andrada came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by A.D. Alcorcón's Belo Alvarez. But to his dismay, Belo Alvarez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Aaron Sandalio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurino Serena having to interfere. Maurino Serena made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anselmo Txilar in the 37th minute. Anselmo Txilar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Belo Alvarez in the 40th minute of play forced Guansa's goalkeeper Esteban José Andrada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute Belo Alvarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteban José Andrada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jerzy Banach's late challenge caught a A.D. Alcorcón's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jerzy Banach helped the player get up and apologised. Jerzy Banach hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The Guansa players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. A.D. Alcorcón were winning 0-2.

When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. A.D. Alcorcón had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
