Alcorcón's goal looked a bit too open when Basilio Fernandez came free, but Maurino Serena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ruquense FC's François-Xavier Dionnet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erlantz Bermejo in the 9th minute of play. François-Xavier Dionnet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erlantz Bermejo in the 12th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the game, Belo Alvarez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. François-Xavier Dionnet was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 16 played minutes Ruquense FC got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Joseph. Maurino Serena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvano Bide in the 19th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Ruquense FC's Basilio Fernandez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Maurino Serena. That made the score 2-1 after 26 minutes of play. In the 30th minute Erlantz Bermejo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but François-Xavier Dionnet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erlantz Bermejo in the 31st minute of play forced Ruquense FC's goalkeeper François-Xavier Dionnet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erlantz Bermejo in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck François-Xavier Dionnet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. François-Xavier Dionnet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erlantz Bermejo in the 34th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Miroslaw Mielak during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Miroslaw Mielak hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erlantz Bermejo in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg François-Xavier Dionnet saved Ruquense FC from getting behind. 41 minutes into the game, Basilio Fernandez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Maurino Serena. Basilio Fernandez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. With a little luck, A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena got control of the ball when Basilio Fernandez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ruquense FC's François-Xavier Dionnet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erlantz Bermejo in the 48th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Basilio Fernandez to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emmanuel Otero during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 63 minutes, Per Albohm mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ruquense FC and the A.D. Alcorcón players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 62nd minute of the game. One of Ruquense FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of A.D. Alcorcón:s goal. When the match had been going on for 65 minutes, A.D. Alcorcón's Erlantz Bermejo got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of François-Xavier Dionnet. In the 67th minute, Silvano Bide made a precise shot to the right of Maurino Serena. A.D. Alcorcón's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. Ruquense FC's Ladislao Lehen was substituted for Miroslaw Mielak. In the 74th minute of the match, Ladislao Lehen sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Maurino Serena showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. Adolfo Joseph kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. A.D. Alcorcón's Leroy Antunez was substituted for Belo Alvarez. After 81 played minutes Ruquense FC got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Joseph. If Remigio Quirze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to A.D. Alcorcón getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Laurin Mangas hit a great ball. In the 95th minute, Leroy Antunez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 100 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ruquense FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Leroy Antunez was slow to take the kick. During this time A.D. Alcorcón's players had a chance to rest. Ruquense FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
