Inocencio Veronica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basilio Fernandez in the 2nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basilio Fernandez in the 3rd minute of play forced Rafaela FC's goalkeeper Inocencio Veronica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ross Strong in the 5th minute of play forced Ruquense FC's goalkeeper François-Xavier Dionnet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miroslaw Mielak got free with Inocencio Veronica in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Basilio Fernandez in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Inocencio Veronica prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Inocencio Veronica took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvano Bide, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leopoldo Tonio made a great header on Ruquense FC's corner, it was just that Rafaela FC's Inocencio Veronica managed to reach the ball for a save. If Silvano Bide had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Inocencio Veronica made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Basilio Fernandez sent off a good shot on target. Ruquense FC's Basilio Fernandez got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Inocencio Veronica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basilio Fernandez in the 31st minute of play. In the 35th minute, Ruquense FC's Basilio Fernandez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Inocencio Veronica. Inocencio Veronica yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 38th minute, Leopoldo Tonio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Inocencio Veronica showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvano Bide, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 41st minute of the match Ruquense FC got a corner. Rafaela FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Leopoldo Tonio ran over to the corner to take the kick. François-Xavier Dionnet stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. In the 46th minute, Ruquense FC's Basilio Fernandez dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

A collision led to Rafaela FC getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Alex Suhendar hit a great ball. François-Xavier Dionnet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Esteban Ikatz in the 52nd minute. After 54 minutes of play, Rafaela FC's Emiliano Furia made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. François-Xavier Dionnet was left in no man's land by his defense there! Inocencio Veronica showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basilio Fernandez, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Inocencio Veronica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basilio Fernandez in the 59th minute of play. Inocencio Veronica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basilio Fernandez in the 61st minute of the match. After some careless play in the Ruquense FC defense, Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of François-Xavier Dionnet. The Ruquense FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that François-Xavier Dionnet should have stopped the shot. In the 65th minute, Esteve Iliana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Inocencio Veronica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basilio Fernandez in the 72nd minute of the match. Rafaela FC's Inocencio Veronica played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basilio Fernandez in the 75th minute of play. Emiliano Furia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. François-Xavier Dionnet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rafaela FC's Octavio Gonzo was substituted for Ross Strong. In the 80th minute, Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 84 minutes into the match, Ruquense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Camillo Daniele came free, but François-Xavier Dionnet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute, Per Albohm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ruquense FC's Basilio Fernandez got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emiliano Furia came free with the goalkeeper in the 94th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and François-Xavier Dionnet could save by the left post. In the 95th minute, Ruquense FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Rodrigo-Sebastian Palacio fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The Rafaela FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Ruquense FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
