Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kenneth McKinnell started the match with the kick off. Kenneth McKinnell was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 4th minute. Catholic Church's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a rather tough play, Catholic Church's Timur Malyugin got a free kick in the 4th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kenneth McKinnell in the 8th minute of play. 9 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kenneth McKinnell was slow to take the kick. During this time Catholic Church's players had a chance to rest. In the 11th minute, Kenneth McKinnell fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kenneth McKinnell in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. After 16 minutes of play, Catholic Church's Henry Kristiansson made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Mathias Björk sent off a good shot on target. Henrik Ingemarsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 26th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. Kenneth McKinnell was extremely unlucky when he, in the 27th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Bo-Erik Östensson hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Catholic Church's Henrik Ingemarsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 29th minute of play. Henrik Ingemarsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Illescas went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Catholic Church's Stig-Åke Ljungberg quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Guillermo Mariano, made in the 34th minute of the game. 35 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Catholic Church's Henrik Ingemarsson. Henrik Ingemarsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Henry Kristiansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. 41 minutes into the game, Henry Kristiansson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Catholic Church's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Catholic Church was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henry Kristiansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Timur Malyugin charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Timur Malyugin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 43 played minutes Catholic Church got a freekick which was hit by Timur Malyugin. Henrik Ingemarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Costa in the 44th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kenneth McKinnell got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. If Kenneth McKinnell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kenneth McKinnell in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Henrik Ingemarsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oskar Bergqvist charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oskar Bergqvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Oskar Bergqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henry Kristiansson in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Henrik Ingemarsson having to make a save. If Kenneth McKinnell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kenneth McKinnell, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kenneth McKinnell in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Mathias Björk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Catholic Church's supporters rose to their feet, but Mathias Björk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 86 minutes into the game, one of Venezuela:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kenneth McKinnell in the 93rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Catholic Church players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
