Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Kenneth McKinnell kicked off to start the match. After some careless play in the Catholic Church defense, Luis Andino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henrik Ingemarsson. The Catholic Church fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henrik Ingemarsson should have stopped the shot. 10 minutes into the match, Catholic Church's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Henrik Ingemarsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mathias Björk's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mathias Björk helped the player get up and apologised. After 11 played minutes Catholic Church got a freekick which was hit by Mathias Björk. Henrik Ingemarsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrik Ingemarsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henrik Ingemarsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 24th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Catholic Church defense, Luis Andino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henrik Ingemarsson. The Catholic Church fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henrik Ingemarsson should have stopped the shot. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Catholic Church's goalkeeper Henrik Ingemarsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 34 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luis Andino made in the 42nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Cristian Sancho immediately put the ball in play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st play minute Agustín Saelices came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Henrik Ingemarsson. 0-4. Cristian Sancho's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Henrik Ingemarsson firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 58th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Henrik Ingemarsson. Catholic Church's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. 70 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Henrik Ingemarsson. Catholic Church's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. Catholic Church's Henrik Ingemarsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 74th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Felix Montenegro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Henrik Ingemarsson. That made the score 0-8 after 76 minutes of play. In the 78th minute, Luis Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henry Kristiansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 94 minutes into the match, Catholic Church's goalkeeper Henrik Ingemarsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. The audience was convinced that Henry Kristiansson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. The Catholic Church fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
