With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when Hammer Zdanów's Arrosko Feijão fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Hammer Zdanów's Milosz Ciempa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 11th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Marian Eniceicu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hammer Zdanów's Caetano Weinhardt was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 19th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Caetano Weinhardt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Hammer Zdanów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marian Eniceicu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baldemar Losantos got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marian Eniceicu was slow to take the kick. During this time Hammer Zdanów's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Slawomir Koczara managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Jonathan Ferrant made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Marian Eniceicu sent off a good shot on target. 40 minutes into the game, Baldemar Losantos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Baldemar Losantos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. In the 42nd match minute, Hammer Zdanów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lê Foder to maneuver through the defense. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caetano Weinhardt in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Baldemar Losantos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Salvador Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Caetano Weinhardt took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caetano Weinhardt in the 57th minute of play. After 62 minutes of play, Hammer Zdanów's Caetano Weinhardt made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baldemar Losantos, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldemar Losantos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caetano Weinhardt in the 87th minute of the match. Baldemar Losantos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 90th match minute, Hammer Zdanów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arrosko Feijão to maneuver through the defense. Arrosko Feijão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
