Fredric Kihlman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. In the 9th minute 孔克朋 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute, Jose Correa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fredric Kihlman. Per-Arne Svanberg kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Claes Gunnarsson having to make a save. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claes Gunnarsson having to interfere. Claes Gunnarsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 孔克朋 in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 41 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. After 45 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. Trehörningsjö's 孔克朋 got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 江宇岩 in the 51st minute of play. Per-Arne Svanberg hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 71 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when 孔克朋 came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Illescas kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fredric Kihlman in the 78th minute of play. Tomas Illescass short, quick shot in the 81stth minute got Claes Gunnarsson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Tomas Illescas kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 孔克朋, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 孔克朋 in the 92nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Fredric Kihlman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. Venezuela succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Trehörningsjö had controlled the match.
