Mariusz Pochorylo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after KS Greenpi's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. A very nice done corner allowed Luca Zorita to score against Mariusz Pochorylo in KS Greenpi's goal. 0-1 after 17 minutes. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Adrian Tărău tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of KS Greenpi booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Macos Graciani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dong Ping could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christof Cartus in the 24th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by KS Greenpi's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adrian Tărău got free with Dante Lacasa in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 36 minutes KS Greenpi's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. Mexico's Luca Zorita was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mariusz Pochorylo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 39 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adrian Tărău. An unexpectedly hard shot by Facundo Cadaval in the 41st minute of play forced KS Greenpi's goalkeeper Mariusz Pochorylo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christof Cartus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. Mexico's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Adrian Tărău scored to the left of an out of position Dante Lacasa, making the score, 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

A collision led to KS Greenpi getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Marek Roman hit a great ball. Mariusz Pochorylo made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. In the 59th minute, Lautaro Mancebo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mariusz Pochorylo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. KS Greenpi made a substitution. Ignacy Waldoch replaced Fabian Charlos. KS Greenpi's Ham Shmuelson was substituted for Wieslaw Fink. Mariusz Pochorylo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. In the 67th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. KS Greenpi's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Mexico's Joel Gaona to fire away a dangerous shot which Mariusz Pochorylo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Felix Luque got a free kick in the 68th minute. After 70 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Felix Luque. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dong Ping in the 70th minute of the match. Mariusz Pochorylo made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Joel Gaona sent off a good shot on target. Lautaro Mancebo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mariusz Pochorylo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Mariusz Pochorylo made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Alberto Tafalla sent off a good shot on target. Mariusz Pochorylo was a little too slow when Luca Zorita got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 1-3. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in KS Greenpi's zone, Joel Gaona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mariusz Pochorylo came out of the goal and Joel Gaona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edmund Hajder charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edmund Hajder the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 94 played minutes KS Greenpi got a freekick which was hit by Edmund Hajder. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joel Gaona during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 96th minute, Joel Gaona hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrian Tărău in the 97th minute of play.
