Valentín Carvallo kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Abdelaziz Aboulker stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Abdelaziz Aboulker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Moises Tafalla in the 31st minute of the match. If Sebastian Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes into the match, Fútbol Club Barcelona's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Abdelaziz Aboulker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charles Louahla in the 45th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Charles Louahla stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, Ali Boutabout hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Halim Medjoudj made in the 57th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Sebastian Villa. Ali Boutabout made in the 74th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Michal Tipinski however managed to control. The supporters of Honduras booed when Fútbol Club Barcelona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barnaba Oborski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milagros Cabal to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luca Espinar in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abdelaziz Aboulker prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
