An unexpectedly hard shot by Adil Albrecht in the 20th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adil Albrecht made a kick off. With a little luck, Cellule's Jean-Charles Sauvaget got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jean-Charles Sauvaget was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Felix Montenegro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Felix Montenegro really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 54th minute, which Jean-Charles Sauvaget however easily saved by the left post. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adil Albrecht in the 64th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the game, Pierre-Louis Berrier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cellule's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. Pierre-Louis Berrier kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
