The throw-in from Brencis Ragaviņš in the 35th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FK Mintis Vilnius's Kęstutis Latoža. Genaro Ponciano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sigitas Jakubauskas in the 37th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, FC Iecēni's goalkeeper Genaro Ponciano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Danilevičius. Genaro Ponciano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İsrafil Yağız in the 39th minute of play. But to his dismay, Arūnas Pukelis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. The audience was convinced that İsrafil Yağız's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Genaro Ponciano was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, İsrafil Yağız put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Genaro Ponciano. 61 minutes into the match, FC Iecēni's goal looked a bit too open when İsrafil Yağız came free, but Genaro Ponciano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, FC Iecēni's Olavs Eliass sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mustafa Kemal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arūnas Pukelis in the 66th minute of play forced FC Iecēni's goalkeeper Genaro Ponciano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68thth minute of the game Tomas Danilevičius who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Iecēni's Genaro Ponciano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Genaro Ponciano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from İsrafil Yağız in the 69th minute of the match. Tomas Danilevičius made a great header on FK Mintis Vilnius's corner, it was just that FC Iecēni's Genaro Ponciano managed to reach the ball for a save. Genaro Ponciano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. FK Mintis Vilnius walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
