FK Mintis Vilnius's Mustafa Kemal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ma Tian in the 8th minute of play. 9 minutes into the game, JULM C.F.'s Ma Tian nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mustafa Kemal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Through an outstanding action, after 13 minutes, Mustafa Kemal successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 14th of the match, Ben Kiesel tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Mustafa Kemal got in the way and made a wonderful save. In the 15th minute JULM C.F. were awarded a corner. Tiburcio Lejalde went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on JULM C.F.'s corner Emil Nikopensius fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mustafa Kemal quite easily take care of the ball. In the 52nd minute Ma Tian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mustafa Kemal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. JULM C.F.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Ben Kiesel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Enrique Saura was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 62 minutes into the match, JULM C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Arūnas Pukelis came free, but Jorginho Brodel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Danilevičius struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Jorginho Brodel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FK Mintis Vilnius. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The JULM C.F. fans cheered their team off the field, for while FK Mintis Vilnius had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
