An unexpectedly hard shot by İsrafil Yağız in the 11th minute of play forced Savage Hippo's goalkeeper Bengt-Arne Askstedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Vilmantas Magdišauskas notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of FK Mintis Vilnius's Mustafa Kemal. Mustafa Kemal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kim Lekberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mustafa Kemal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kim Lekberg ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kim Lekberg in the 20th minute of play forced FK Mintis Vilnius's goalkeeper Mustafa Kemal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mustafa Kemal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kim Lekberg went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Mustafa Kemal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kim Lekberg in the 27th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, İsrafil Yağız notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Savage Hippo's Bengt-Arne Askstedt. Bengt-Arne Askstedt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. FK Mintis Vilnius's Mustafa Kemal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vilmantas Magdišauskas in the 34th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Savage Hippo's Saulius Pilipavičius got a free kick in the 39th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as FK Mintis Vilnius's İsrafil Yağız slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bengt-Arne Askstedt. That made the score 4-2 after 40 minutes of play. Mustafa Kemal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vilmantas Magdišauskas, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-2 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kim Lekberg to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kęstutis Latoža during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 51 played minutes FK Mintis Vilnius got a freekick which was hit by Kęstutis Latoža. Kim Lekberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Mustafa Kemal made a huge save. Bengt-Arne Askstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Danilevičius in the 64th minute of the match. Bengt-Arne Askstedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Danilevičius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Savage Hippo getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Saulius Pilipavičius hit a great ball. After 74 played minutes Savage Hippo got a freekick which was hit by Saulius Pilipavičius. 76 minutes into the match, FK Mintis Vilnius's goal looked a bit too open when Saulius Pilipavičius came free, but Mustafa Kemal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kim Lekberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Mustafa Kemal made a huge save. Through an outstanding action, after 83 minutes, Mustafa Kemal successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Bengt-Arne Askstedt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Danilevičius, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Mustafa Kemal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saulius Pilipavičius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. İsrafil Yağız fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt-Arne Askstedt having to interfere.
