Tiburcio Lejalde ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led JULM C.F.'s Tiburcio Lejalde to fire away a dangerous shot which Luiz Guilherme Vinhas despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jorginho Brodel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Gündüz Saner, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ma Tian made a kick off. In the 54th minute Ma Tian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Guilherme Vinhas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, JULM C.F.'s goalkeeper Jorginho Brodel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Laur Vanamees. After 61 minutes, Arne Kari mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vuntsidega Vägimehed and the JULM C.F. players grew even worse after the yellow card.
