The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. DZINTARS's Pål Bergmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artūrs Sagalats in the 4th minute of play. In the 6thth minute of the game Artūrs Sagalats who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DZINTARS's Pål Bergmann was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 9th minute of the match SK Annenieki got a corner. DZINTARS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Reinholds Jaunzems ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 10th minute of the match, Indris Tomass tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pål Bergmann saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Pål Bergmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Indris Tomass, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. SK Annenieki's Jānis Lielais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ģirts Ozols in the 18th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Bryant Solis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jānis Lielais was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. A collision led to DZINTARS getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Carlos Alberto Vidal hit a great ball. With a little luck, DZINTARS's Pål Bergmann got control of the ball when Reinholds Jaunzems tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind SK Annenieki's goalkeeper Jānis Lielais, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pål Bergmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artūrs Sagalats in the 29th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Indris Tomass in the 33rd minute of play forced DZINTARS's goalkeeper Pål Bergmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SK Annenieki's Jānis Lielais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bryant Solis in the 41st minute of play. 42 minutes into the game, Artūrs Sagalats recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pål Bergmann. Artūrs Sagalats showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kārlis Dzintars in the 46th minute of play forced SK Annenieki's goalkeeper Jānis Lielais to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bryant Solis to strike the kick off in the second half. DZINTARS's Pål Bergmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Indris Tomass in the 51st minute of play. A collision led to DZINTARS getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Saulvedis Salaszemnieks hit a great ball. DZINTARS made a substitution. Henrihs Linkūns replaced Kārlis Dzintars. After a rather tough play, DZINTARS's Saulvedis Salaszemnieks got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Pål Bergmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reinholds Jaunzems, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. SK Annenieki's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Reinholds Jaunzems in the 64th minute. A nice corner shot did that Reinholds Jaunzems got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pål Bergmann quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jānis Lielais made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bryant Solis in the 66th minute. Jānis Lielais made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Ģirts Ozols sent off a good shot on target. Reinholds Jaunzems sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SK Annenieki's Ingus Rencis was substituted for Drosmis Kalnaiza. SK Annenieki's Vilis Lettlands was substituted for Indris Tomass. After a rather tough play, DZINTARS's Henrihs Linkūns got a free kick in the 76th minute. Ģirts Ozols could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Jānis Lielais made a huge save. DZINTARS's Pål Bergmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artūrs Sagalats in the 83rd minute of play. Jānis Lielais made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bryant Solis in the 85th minute of play. After a rather tough play, DZINTARS's Saulvedis Salaszemnieks got a free kick in the 86th minute. After 87 played minutes, SK Annenieki's Reinholds Jaunzems shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pål Bergmann came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SK Annenieki reached it. Vilis Lettlands fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pål Bergmann having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
